A Case Study: Layout Optimization of Three Gorges Wind Farm Pakistan, Using Genetic Algorithm

Wind is an important renewable energy source. The majority of wind farms in Pakistan are installed Jhimpir, Sindh Corridor. At this location, downstream turbines encounter upstream turbines’, wake, decreasing power output. To maximize the output, there a need to minimize these wakes. In research, method proposed output using Genetic Algorithm (GA). Hub heights and inter-turbine spacing considered variables method. Two located at Sindh, namely, Second Third Three Gorges Farms (TGWFs), have been analyzed. different cases Case 1, thesame hub without wake effects considered. 2, same with 3, variable results revealed that TGWFs, spacing, produce more It also increase case two heights, greater comparison three heights.
